Some way to make lemonade!

Just one week after buying new acrylics, my 4-yo daughter thought it was a great idea to just squeeze out every single one of them onto a tray. I went crazy. There it was, about a 100 euros of paint. Just on top of each other. 

Luckily I had a whole new community to ask for advice. What to do with all this paint, without letting it go to waste? I got some great tips. How to keep the paint usable for longer and ideas to use all the paint for actual paintings. Abstract backgrounds was what I was going for. I bought some new canvases (big ones!), took all the palet knives I had and just started smearing the paint onto the canvas.

Before I knew it I saw a sunset coming through. It was quite the challenge to separate all the squeezed out colours, so at first it was more like a hazy night. Adding one more layer of some bright (unmixed) colours gave it the exact look I like. 

Crazy how this turned out to be my favourite painting so far. What a way to make lemonade.. right?!

I was doubting selling the original. But the thought of someone else enjoying the magic moment that it creates for me, made me decide to do sell it.
