Original ‘Sunset in full colour’ (60x80cm)

Sunset in full colour is an original acrylic painting created entirely with palette knives. No brushwork, just thick layers of paint applied directly to the canvas, creating bold texture and movement throughout the piece. The colours burst outward from the centre like an intense sunset reflected on water. Electric blues, bright pinks, fiery oranges and deep purples collide in a composition that feels alive and constantly shifting.

This painting changes with the light in the room. Up close, the heavy texture and raw knife marks become visible. From a distance, it turns into an explosion of colour and depth. Perfect as a statement piece for a living room, creative studio or any interior that could use a little more energy.

I use mostly acrylic paints, together with medium gels, texture pastes and other materials that I can get my hand on.

The original paintings come without framing. I always paint the sides as well, so you can hang the painting unframed beautifully.

You can of course always frame it yourself at a local framing shop.
